Vision for Stratford

When you're around children, you see the world through their eyes. Our 6 and 9 year old help me see the city through the eyes of young families, and also make sure that I see the city 10, 20, and 30 years from now.

What’s my vision? I want to be sure we hang on tight to the great parts of Stratford, but the secret is out. Stratford is a great place to live, and we need to adapt to the influx and growth with creativity and flexibility, while also making sure we increase supports for those who need them. We need to address things like affordable housing, city debt, climate change, public transit, lack of bike lanes and routes, and keep Stratford moving forward at a pace that keeps up with the world around us.

I know that many of you are looking for a bigger voice at city hall, and I want to continue to be that voice.

By continuing to personally host monthly forums if re-elected, I’m working to improve accessibility and engagement between Stratford and the people who live here. A vote for me is a demand to have access to, and the attention of, your elected officials; not every campaign season, but on an ongoing and consistent basis.

Voting starts October 26. My vision for Stratford starts now.
